"Wildwood facilitated a very successful technical forum for the National Estuary Program investigating the human and environmental impacts of bio-toxic algae in the Indian River Lagoon that has led to increased monitoring and assessment of this important issue within the estuary. They are also leading the coordination of Total Maximum Daily Load allocations for our estuary of national significance, and their work will be central in creating effective Basin Management Area Plans to implement the TMDLs throughout the communities in our watershed. The Wildwood team's years of experience and extensive knowledge in coastal management and estuarine science make them highly qualified for this unique work. Wildwood Consulting is very responsive to our needs and I am certain will continue to provide quality facilitation services and superior coordination for Indian River Lagoon issues for our program."
- Troy Rice, Director
Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program
"Putnam County has a vision to be the "Trail Hub of Florida" and the Wildwood team has been instrumental in designing our plan, bringing stakeholders together and working with the many partners to make this vision a reality. This project is very important to our community and I would not entrust our dream to anyone else."
- Brad Purcell, Commissioner
Board of County Commissioners, Putnam County
"As the facilitator for the Lower St. Johns River Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) development, Wildwood Consulting did an excellent job of gaining consensus among numerous diverse stakeholders. The multi-year TMDL process included a lot of complex and highly technical environmental information regarding the effects and resulting limitations of nitrogen and phosphorus in the river. The end result was the successful implementation of a Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP) that all stakeholders could support. In addition to facilitating the meetings, Wildwood Consulting provided clear, accurate meeting minutes, technical reports, and preparation of the final adopted BMAP."
